Dec 27 ~~ Another reference book here。 I have been browsing through this book thanks to YouTube videos by a young man who explores various street food stalls in Cambodia。 Marco and I love to watch his videos， and we especially appreciate when he puts subtitles and explains to his viewers the names of the different foods we see being prepared。I never knew much about Cambodia， it was always just a name in the news to me years ago。 I have learned a lot from the videos and this book: complex history Dec 27 ~~ Another reference book here。 I have been browsing through this book thanks to YouTube videos by a young man who explores various street food stalls in Cambodia。 Marco and I love to watch his videos， and we especially appreciate when he puts subtitles and explains to his viewers the names of the different foods we see being prepared。I never knew much about Cambodia， it was always just a name in the news to me years ago。 I have learned a lot from the videos and this book: complex history， busy streets， nice people， interesting food。 Well， to be honest， I am not much of a seafood eater， so I would have trouble with the giant river snails and some of the other dishes we have seen， but the variety of fruits the people eat （and the way they prepare them all） is AMAZING。 I am going to try to find on the map some of the markets and other places our video host has shard with us。 This book is as fun to explore as the videos have been！ 。。。more

This series is always useful for planning where you want to go--lots of pictures！ but I use other sources to decide hotels restaruants and transportation options。 Still very useful when you are at the initial planning stages of a trip: Do I want to go here？ What places in this area would appeal to me the most？

This tells the complete history， geography， and many more about this Continent。 This is a travelers guide， so incase you go to Cambodia or Laos， this book will really be helpful。 This tells the complete history of Cambodia and Laos。 It tells about how the French ruled them， and which Emperors and Kings built the glorious temples in those years and how life hard during world war 2， until present day and what crisis and corruption is happening in those 2 countries。
